Anime Sites
Crunchyroll- This is my favorite website for watching anime. It has lots of shows, though mostly newer ones, and if you pay for a membership (not expensive) you can even watch videos in good quality with no adds.Funimation Entertainment- The website of the famed anime distributor, there is a fair bit of good anime to watch here, pretty much all hosted by Hulu, so there are adds to contend with.
VizAnime- Another anime site from a distributor. Most of the shows available can be found on Crunchyroll, but not all of them.
Anime News Network- Name says it all, keep up on the latest in anime.
Humorous Media Reviews
TGWTG- Home of That Guy With The Glasses, a.k.a. The Nostalgia Critic, Chester A. Bum, Ask That Guy, Patchy The Pirate, Dominic The Bartender, That Guy Riffs or just plain Doug Walker. I have met the man twice and I have to say he is one of the funniest and nicest people I've ever met, go check his stuff out, you won't regret it. This site is the official home of Channel Awesome, a large group of internet reviewers covering movies, TV, anime, manga, comics and more. There are many fine people here. The Spoony Experiment- Home of Spoony, a.k.a., Noah Antwhiler, one of the most popular contributors to Channel Awesome. His reviews focus mostly on video games and movies with not-infrequent cameos from one of his famed characters, Dr. Insano.
The Cinema Snob- Home of Brad Jones, the self-proclaimed Cinema Snob, also a popular contributor to Channel Awesome. His videos focus mostly on exploitation films and bad pornos (censored on the site), but he has other videos focusing on badly dubbed martial arts movies, current movie reviews, random stuff from his DVD collection, a segment where he tries strange foods and drinks and he has even made a couple of feature-length movies. He is often joined by his wife and friends. He has an interesting sense a humor, a voice that makes me think his father is secretly Jack Nicholson and I want that suit he always wears.
General Humor and Parody
TeamFourStar- Youtube channel of the famed TeamFourStar, best known for their parody of Dragonball Z, DBZ Abridged. If you are a fan of Dragonball Z, don't miss their hilarious take on it.freddiew- Youtube channel of Freddie Wong, maker of short but hilarious videos with surprisingly good special effects. These videos are good on their own, but if you are a fan of first person shooter games or just love guns, you may find even even more enjoyment.
Fails of the Weak- If you like Halo Reach, you will probably like this weekly series featuring crazy videos captured in-game of epic fails, surprising misses and just plain crazy deaths and glitches.
Red Vs Blue- Series that is basically a parody of the Halo games. Very funny, though it does get more serious and story-driven as it goes on, it never fully loses the humor.
The Lonely Island- The youtube channel of the famous Comedy Troupe specializing in crazy, hilarious and often incredibly NSFW songs. If you are not easily offended and love a good laugh, check them out...so long as your boss and kids are not in earshot.
The Onion- Full of fake news parodies, some quite creative.
Webcomics
Sinfest- An odd little comic by Japanese-American Tatsuya Ishida. It is a bit hard to describe well, but it is very fun to read.8-Bit Theatre- A parody of Final Fantasy, focusing mostly on the first game, this is a comic making use of video game sprites for characters. It is very funny, one of the first webcomics I ever read.
Least I Could Do- Webcomic focusing on the life of a sex-crazed womanizer, who is oddly enough, actually a decent guy once you get to know him. The art style changes A LOT from the first comic to the modern ones, so don't let the early stuff throw you.
Looking For Group- Written by Ryan Sohmer, also the writer of Least I Could Do, LFG Comic was originally a World of Warcraft parody, but gained a life of its own. Well worth reading, and I am not just saying that because the writer is such a funny guy (met him once).
Manly Men Doing Manly Things- Based on a simple question, how do all those violent video game men manage to reintergrate into normal society?
Surviving The World- "Daily lessons in science, literature, love and life."
Ctrl+Alt+Del- Focusing on the crazy life of gamers.
Extralife- Focusing on humor related to video games, TV, movies and general nerdy stuff.
VG Cats- Video game humor, where everybody is a cat.
PHD Comics- Following the life of overworked graduate students.
